Maazhimaagwad Part II

I done did it again!

This time coming from my apartment and going to my car.

"Stomp" has a dog and normally she's good at picking up the crap but not today and just as I got Jack's shit cleaned off of one shoe and no longer smelling the ass smell in the car while driving; I stepped in the other dog's shit with my other shoe!

So now that pair of old blue and gray work out Saucony shoes sit in the entryway after I sprayed them with antibacterial spray and scrubbed the hell outta them.

Last night I was bummed about money and how the majority of my stipend is going on bills and gas (for the commute to class every other day). Today I got my stipend and took a little over half of it to help pay our big bills and also to get my taxes out.

I brought them in a few months ago and have put off getting them for one: I didn't have that kind of money to pay the fee to get them out and two: I anticipated that I'd be "paying in" as I have been the past three or four years. But it was my suprise to find out I'll be getting a little extra back and in about three weeks.

So now I can kind of breathe a sigh of relief for the month of April but not too much.

Another two years of this and it'll pay off. Sometimes it's hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel but I'm glad I rented and watched The Pursuit of Happyness a couple of nights ago. I could relate and though our situations have differences; we still went through similar money struggles. It was inspiring to know that it was based on a true story and also because of the attitude he maintained throughout. He kept his head up and to me didn't want pity from anyone because he knew what he wanted and he was going for it. It's a good movie and I was rootin for him the whole time :)
