Chookout
My fiance had a buddy once who had a speech impediment and he loved pro wrestling so he'd go around saying "Can you smell what the wock is chookin?" translation: "Can you smell what The Rock is cookin?" (Pro wrestler The Rock's famous saying)So anyways we had a chookout for my dad's birthday earlier tonight. His birthday is tomorrow but all the family was around this evening so we got together for chicken, hot dogs, beans and potato salad. Oh and what's a birthday celebration without the cake,ice cream and presents! I got my dad a nice card and the DVD The New Guy. It's a funny movie. He also got a season of the series 24, a Led Zeppelin CD and Adidas sandals from my sisters.
It was a nice get together.
And now there is more snow on the way....grrrrrrr...
