concoctions

Here's my commod egg banana bread fresh from the oven! It turned out good and my man said he couldn't even taste a difference!


I had a piece for breakfast with a cup of Colombian from Caribou.


Here's the start of my pasta e fagioli without the pasta. I usually let it cook awhile and add the pasta last so it doesn't get all mushy.


And here's a shot of how it looks with the pasta.



Normally ditali pasta is used but there's only one store in town that sells it; and sometimes they have it and sometimes they don't. So I decided to try shells. I got the recipe online because it claimed to taste like Olive Garden's Pasta e Fagioli and it kind of does but not exactly. The OG's has more zest and is not as thick but nonetheless the version I found online is still good!
