Howwwwwllllll bark
So goes the stupid dog that lives below us and the sound travels up the stairway/entryway and echoes throughout our place at midnight.Which means our neighbor must be gone to the bar or something. Most of the time she brings her dog with her and that's fine. Then we don't have to put up with the barking and howling aka disturbing the peace up here.
The dog is a cutie but you'd think she'd put it in the basement when she's gone out of consideration. Oh well I can't complain too much at least she doesn't play loud bass bumping, wall rattling music like when we lived in our first apartment :)
Thursday we didn't have classes because the campus was closed down for a faculty in-service so I took to the road and got out of this country for about twenty minutes.
I had to go to Canada and hit a post office to mail out the Canadian invitations to my man's mom so she can hand them out to relatives. Since it's a small rez/community that'll help save on postage. The drive was nice, with the sun shining and nice temps. I even burned myself a CD for the road from some songs off of iTunes.
Then I returned home and had about an hour to spare before I had to meet my mom to work out. So I vacuumed and tried to straighten the place up a bit. After I worked out I started working on repairing and reconditioning some dresses for my nieces. Tomorrow is the state drum and dance competition. No all nighter this time because I got it all done!
But I should get to bed it's almost 12:30 AM and I have to wake up early. I'm helping out with the drum and dance group for this school district (my fiance is "the coach"). And I got my littlest niece spending the night so that's one more body other than my own I'll have to get ready early in the morning! Then we're going to pick up the other nieces on the way to the school and then board the bus and put in a full day!
Saturday I reluctantly head to a powwow in St. Cloud MN (I'd rather hit the one in Red Lake; it's closer and my fam is going to that one) But I got a friend from the cities going to the one in St. Cloud and I haven't seen her in a long time so hopefully she makes it and we can catch up! We used to be roommates about thirteen years ago one summer and she was fun to hang out with and a cool person. I'm sure nothing has changed!
