Going Back
I have to leave soon and make the hour journey for our monthly cohort meeting for our program.The weekend plans have changed for us as we got a call earlier this morning from my man's dad. There has been a death in their community (someone suffered a heart attack) and my man said to cancel the festivities tomorrow night. It's a sort of protocol in their community when someone passes away and if there is an event planned, the event is cancelled.
He was even teaching me the game of poker last night to gear up for this weekend, where pretty much everyone up that way are poker nuts hahaha So I'm learning now it's an interesting game and I still have much to learn as I'm just a rookie right now.
