We're going to Canada!
This Saturday May 12 we're heading to Canada for a wedding social fundraiser hosted by my man's family. If you recall we hit one in September of '06 and that was hosted by his mother's side; the one this Saturday is being hosted by his father's side.What they do is they rent out the community hall in the town of Sioux Narrows and charge a price at the door to get in. Usually you buy some tickets and those are used at the "bar" to redeem for whatever they're serving. The family buys and serves the alcohol while his dad's band plays and everyone gets merry and dances the night away.
So if any of my family reading this wants to head up for that let me know and I can call around about hotel rooms. Leave a comment here if interested :)
