tired
I thought I'd be done with the second sewing project by now but I'm not. I have finishing touches on the designs and the ribbon to sew on plus the dress to do still. Though it doesn't sound like a lot, I'm willing to bet that tomorrow night will be another all nighter.I forgot how meticulous and stressful it can be. Especially earlier, when my stitches weren't precise because of the different texture of the fabric. Then I messed up the designs, I made eight of the same designs, four on each side of the shawl and I forgot to flip my pattern for the other four. I didn't notice until after I had ironed them all on and wondered why one side looked a little different.
Oh well, my nieces said that they couldn't even notice and when I tried explaining it to them they were like "I still don't get it." lol
They were kind enough to cut fringe for me earlier, that really helps and diminishes the time the process takes. I should have it ready for grand entry on Saturday. I can't wait to see them wear and compete in their new duds!
Ok I'm really tired, I keep typo-ing and hitting "delete" to correct it.
