stiff stems

So last night I danced our final two songs and I thought I'd be dragging because my legs were a little sore but I hung in there and danced hard. I didn't feel sore but when I woke up my calves were stiff. But as I moved around and walked around they're ok now.

My nieces placed! "S" came in 2nd, actually she should've had first as she was clearly the smoothest and best out there but she was beat out by a fancier, flashier gal. "A" picked it up and jammed hard in her finals to secure a 4th place finish, the competition was more stiff in her category so it's real awesome she placed :)

I didn't place, the story of my life hahaha, but I jammed out hard and had a lot of fun knowing that I was hanging in and not looking sluggish out there. And I survived the heat, actually yesterday wasn't that bad it was Wednesday that was the hot one!

My husband's drum took 1st in the drum contest! They sounded pretty good and I haven't heard them sound that good since 2001-2002! Hopefully they get back on track and hitting the trail, they've been dormant the past three years.

Well I have the littlest one today and I have to go do some laundry or else we'll be wearing stink clothes to the family get together tomorrow hahaha ;)
