Where The Spirit Lives
We watched that movie a few weeks ago in one of my classes. It's about the boarding school era and it was set in Alberta. I've watched it before in other classes and each time I watch it, I always seem to gain something from it. It's a good movie; it made me sad and angry and also glad to know that I'm trying my hardest to learn our language.That movie is a rare one to come by, they used to have it at a few video stores in town but they closed. I think it's pretty much only available on VHS and I saw it on Amazon.com about a month ago going for $123!
Today I was gifted with a DVD version of it from my older sis. I got home and tried it in our DVD player but it didn't work :( So I tried it on the computer and it worked so I watched a few minutes of it and although I wanted to watch the whole thing, I had some soup to make. Cream of Wild Rice soup to be exact, and it turned out really good :) I took a pic and will post it later on.
