*Nu Shooz ;-)

One Christmas I got a pair of black shoes from my mother-in-law and I wore the hell out of them so much that even when there was a dent and rips, I still wore them in public lol

These are also the same shoes that I sprained my ankle in on 7/7/07 so they've been through a lot. I couldn't part with them and when I'd go "black shoe shopping" nothing ever came close to those shoes. A few weeks ago I finally threw them away as we re-arranged our living room to make way for the HDTV.

I threw them away with the comfort of knowing I'd soon be getting replacements for the holidays as a gift from my parents :) It was just a matter of when since they were found on ebay (a great deal by the way) and they were coming from Canada.

Actually last year I was supposed to get them, my man told his ma how much I liked those shoes and she tried to find them in black but could only find them in brown. So I have a brown pair that I got good wear out of this past year.

Anyways enough of my rambling and this post lays to rest my at-one-time-my-favorite sorry looking black shoes lol
