It started a few weeks ago, one evening my cat made a loud drawn out meow and then she puked up what looked like chunks of her food.It happened again a few nights ago and again this morning after I put fresh food in her dish. A few nights ago, I had just put fresh food in her dish as well.
So now I'm kind of worried since some days she's here all alone, what if she pukes up and it settles into the carpet or furniture? Gross. Or what if it's something worse and she keels over?
I googled it and it seems like this sort of thing happens to other cats as well and some of the explanations I heard was that she could've ingested something that could be interfering with her system or it's because of hairballs even if there are no hairballs present.
She has been giving herself a lot of baths lately and I ran out of the hairball remedy disguised as treats that I would regularly give her. I should go buy some more and see if that makes a difference.
On the other hand, today would probably be the only day I could bring her in to the vet unless I want to wait it out until Tuesday (the next possible time I could bring her in).
